Pre-Nursery|Nursery|Primary

Our first priority is to provide a friendly, relaxed atmospher combined with a sense of order and security, one that children feel at "home" in their classroom.
They also learn and understand acceptable behavior, the processes of acquiring neccesary skills and concepts for their individual development.

Consequently, by the end of two (2) years period in nursery many children will have learned to read. they will have learnt to recognise and spell common words, read simple sentences and use books for enjoyment and refernce. they will have begun to write simple sentences themselves and develop a good understanding of numbers and shapes. they will have learnt songs and listened to stories and often times be able to act out simpler versions.

Royal Topkids Home offers enriching pupil development curriculum; taking into consideration the best and careful blend of British and Nigerian curiculum.
The learning progrss is supportedby extensive co-curricular, social, moral, sports and character development activities.

PSHE- Personal, Social and Health Education

The school is committed to the integral development of her students. Key health issues such as drugs, alcohol, general education, diet and general lifestyle are covered. There is also a focus on study skills, Debate(BUZZ BEE), the environment and current affairs

Curriculum

Royal Topkids Home has a rich and dynamic school academic program, with a good blend of british-Nigerian curriculum carefully aligned with the Nigerian Education Research and Development Council (NERDC). Our years of experience and collaboration have enabled us to design the school accademic program from the curriculum with a wide scope of learning experience/outcome.

We have significantly identified learning outcomes and experience at each stage of development and we use contemporary teaching methodologies, innovative technologies and quality educational material/resources.

School Club

In Royal Topkids Home, we are conscious that learning does not take place only in the classroom. School Clubs and Societies are an integral part of the school’s curriculum designed to cater for students’ hobbies and interests.
These informal activities are believed to extend interest in the specific activity, promote friendship, social and leadership skills and comupetencies, self-awareness and development and positive values.
They also provide skills needed for the students’ future careers.
Not withstanding the importance of these clubs and societies, there is a regulated number of clubs or extra-curricular activities that students may engage in.
Great steps are taken to ensure that they are well coordinated in order to achieve their intended aims. The school clubs include: Mathematics club, Science Club, Debating club, Readers club, Music/Choral, Drama club, Homemakers Club and Redcross/ Para-military, among others.
